Truthfully, ive gone back and played all the old multiplayer gears games recently. And it really makes me appreciate Gears 5 even more. I hate tbe slow clunkiness. It was fun back in the day. But I dont want to go back to slow clunky non wall bounce type movement. I think people think they want it, but if that happened, the fun wouldnt last long.

This was an awesome finale to the original trilogy. We had the OG squad, men were doing men shit while cracking jokes and accepting death. Killing everything and blowing shit up. Now? A 90 lbs girl who gets migraines and has PTSD is calling the shots and going toe to toe with gigantic mutant beasts that the biggest and baddest human men alive have trouble with. The multiplayer was top notch too. All though I will say Gears 5 has perfectly fine multiplayer, I like the horde mode.

3:48 the gore in that room looks amazing! All the body parts, mangled bodies, and blood. Makes Gears 5's gore an even more disappointment. This needs to come back in E-Day. And the way you chunked Dizzy just looks so damn satisfying.

As a die die hard competitive GOW1 player back in the day. I will always remember the launch of GOW2 and how sad the multiplayer community was coming from GOW1. I still think about this at least once a year on the biggest hype and biggest let down. It still baffles me that they decided to completely change the movement. And what still baffles me, is they changed the movement every GOW. Lmao smh. They fucked and divided the fan base so much because of that. Now every GOW is subjective. Only GOW1 fans know the community and what we built. RIP

wingman is a great game mode but man gear 2 is infuriating with the overall lag

wingman would be so hard in E-day. this was one of the best modes.
